This prevents injury because bass is a physically demanding instrument at times. I teach warm ups, breathing, posture, hand and arm positions, stretches, and cool downs. My teaching style is taught with expectations. Although I aim to move at the student's learning pace, it is important to hold accountability on the student's behalf when we're not instruction. Consistent practice will be necessary for growth and I like to check in with students 2 days before next lessons to ensure the material has been understood and reviewed. From this point we can ensure progress. When a student does not review the content for the next lesson, it causes a sense of frustration and nervousness in the student's ability to comprehend the next lesson. Read More
