The first lesson typically is to set expectations and evaluate the students level of guitar knowledge. For beginners, we start from the beginning utilizing Aaron Shearers method book. For the intermediate player, we find music that is appropriate for their level of playing while also focusing on reading music and music theory applied to the guitar.
