About the Bass

The Electric Bass Guitar originated in the 50s at about the same time as the Electric Guitar. It is the lowest voice in music. There is something about the deep pulsing vibe of a bass line that makes everyone groove and tap their foot. Music without a Bass line tends to be flat; the Bass, though sometimes unnoticed, is really what gives music its three dimensional quality.
