My method is simple. During our first lesson, we dive into any and everything that is important to you regarding music. Once we have a solid foundation of influences / skill level / goals, we can begin outlining a lesson plan together for the duration of your music lessons with me. Our lessons will be conversational - our ideas will bounce off of each other. I will never tell you what to do - I will only tell you what methods will and wont work. I began teaching guitar lessons while in college. I taught to friends and family of friends who were interested in learning music, but too nervous to reach out to a teacher that they were not comfortable with. This experience really allowed me to hone my ability to teach students who had an interest in music, but lacked the experience level and confidence to step out of their comfort zone.
