For beginners with no prior knowledge or musical education I start with the MelBay Method Modern Guitar 1. After they acquired the basic & fundamental Knowledge and skills in an entertaining way then I move on to teach them the first lesson of the Melbay method the student learns the first note on the first three strings of the guitar. Later based on their progress I move on to teach them the first scales and natural and simple accords with songs that stimulate and encourage their learning process according to their level of musical knowledge. For beginners, I like Essential Elements 2000, Faber Method, Suzuki solo books, and easy pop music books.
