Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.
lessons are available in the following areas:
Instruments: Violin, Viola
I feel very good when I see that my students are enjoying and making progress in their playing~! Therefore, I help my students find their goals to help them see their accomplishments and achievements as well.
For beginning and intermediate students, I like to start by teaching the Suzuki violin method and introducing classical pieces along the way. During the holidays, I will also introduce Christmas music, and many famous pieces like The Nutcracker. For more advanced students seeking to shape their careers around a certain genre of music, I encourage their interest while choosing pieces to accentuate their talent in those genres. Various levels of theory are also taught for all ages and levels of students.
Instruments: Violin, Viola
Each student is different, so it is hard for me to pinpoint my style into a couple of sentences. However, I set goals each week for my students to achieve. I think this motivates students over the course of the week when we are apart. I always acknowledge achievements because I believe that positive feedback is just as important as critiques.
Instruments: Violin, Cello, Viola
Teaching Methods: For beginners I like to start with the Suzuki Method. But I'm also familiar with other couple methods such as Essential Elements and Essential Techniques for strings book 1-3. In addition to follow a method book, I like to supplement some small pieces from other books as well as incorporate some of the pieces that the student want to learn. Once the student is in the intermediate to advanced level of playing, I like to use the String Basics Book, Carl Flesh Scale Book, Kayser's ,Schradieck, Dont, Kreutzer's 42 Studies, among others a long with some solo repertoire.
Teaching Styles: I believe that every child can learn to play an instrument. Providing the right environment, a good comunication and engament wtih the student is fundamental in order to give the student the chance to express himself/herself through music, feel confident and proud of his/her achievement. Nothing is more gratifying than seeing my students to feel good with themlseves while making music and making progress. My goal is to be a resource for them but also teach them to become auto sufficient for their future.

It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
