Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing my students thrive while learning! My goal as a teacher is to help my students channel their talent and show them how to become an accomplished musician. Recognition is an important aspect and part of my teaching style; I encourage my students by praising their work and progress. I also try to find out what inspires and motivates my students, which helps to broaden the opportunities for their success as a musician. It is important that I set realistic goals for my students and show them how to achieve these goals throughout each semester.
Instruments: Violin, Viola
For beginning students, I start with Gerald E. Anderson and Robert S. Frost's All for Strings. Once the students made progression in basic fundamentals, I use the Suzuki Methods Books and Solo for Young Violinists by Barbara Barber. Along with that, I introduce the students to the chamber music so that the students learn to play with others. For adults, I try to provide the students in their interested music so that, playing music is fun and entertaining to them.
Instruments: Violin, Viola
I use Essential Elements with my beginners until they are comfortable with the instrument. Once they seem comfortable, I switch them over to Suzuki books so that they can begin learning more standard repertoire. However, I would not say that I use the Suzuki method; I merely just use the books because they have good pieces in them. For my more advanced students, I pick pieces and etudes based on individual level.

Teaching Styles: I use a Practice based incentive program to develop healthy musical habits. I listen to the goals each student wants to achieve and set up steps to accomplish the goal. While in a lesson I establish basic musicianship, while developing and shaping a performers self image. Warm encouragement and helpful criticism are used to create a safe testing ground to forge and hone new skills.
