I have taught over a dozen students through my personal music studio at Florida State University, and many of them have gone on to win auditions at the university level. I want my students to enjoy learning. Students often comment that I'm funny, respectful, and patient. They think this is important because laughter relaxes instruction a bit, respect should go both ways between instructors/students, and a patient teacher reduces student frustration when they mess up. I have a performance degree in violin, and am currently finishing my masters in music therapy at FSU.
