My teaching experience has been mostly for being part of different kind of music schools, academies, home tutoring and private teacher at high schools for the past 5 years, thanks to this I met and taugh students of all ages. I want my students to have fun, but to also engage in very structured learning. All students must find time to practice during the week, but the parents must be a huge part of helping their child learn this new instrument. We will set weekly, realistic goals for each lesson. During the lesson, we will review the last concept that was learned, go over the lesson for the day and then create a lesson for the following week and be sure that each lesson is explained and understood. I had a successful private studio from 2003 until 2008. My students ranged in ages from beginners to seniors in high school. Then I began teaching formally in schools in 2008 until 2017 where I taught middle and high school orchestra and choir and also elementary music. I started teaching privately in 2004, and have been doing so in either my own studio or in the studios of others ever since.. In 2013, I started contracting with the Anaheim City School District to teach string classes in their after-school music program. Since moving to Texas, I have started orchestra programs at two different schools in Dallas county, while continuing to build my own studio.
