Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I started teaching private piano 1991 and have taught over 200 private students since starting. I have taught K-12 music in public schools since 1991. My student ages have run from 3 to 66+. As I am retiring at the end of this present school year, I am expanding my times available for private students - piano, keyboard, ukulele, guitar and all brass instruments are welcome. I try to maintain organization and give my students goals to accomplish. In this, I aim to teach them how to create these goals for themselves, giving them a say in what they choose to work on. I will push a student in whichever direction they are aiming for. I maintain an attitude of positivity and try to encourage my students as much as possible.
