I'm a trombonist in my last semester of my Master's degree in performance and chamber music at the University of Michigan, and am so excited to share my knowledge with students of any age. I believe that music should evoke strong feelings in both the performer as well as the audience members, so my teaching approach aims to foster musicality and the love of music in all forms. I began my teaching career during my studies at UWF, where I was brought on as Instructor of Music at Olive Baptist School of Performing Arts, here I taught guitar, brass, and voice. I have also been on the staff at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp since 2011, where I spent two summers as the vocal coach for the International Choir Ensemble of the Blue Lake International Exchange Program.
