I have been band director in the public school system for over 20 years and an adjunct professor in college for several years. Since 1993, I have been teaching private lessons to low brass students ranging from grade 5 through college. Students under my director have been successful in District, All-Region, All-Area, All-State and Texas UIL competitions. I have many years working with students from all backgrounds and ability levels. Originally from Thailand, I have performed in various professional and festival ensembles including around the world, including Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Tucson Pops, Arizona Opera, Ture Concord Voices and Orchestra, Akron Symphony Orchestra, Siam Philharmonic Orchestra, Bangkok Opera and Philharmonic Winds (Singapore). I was a member of Spoleto Festival USA in 2016 and 2017, and, in 2015, I participated in Aspen Music Festival. I have earned honors and awards such as Winner of Concerto Competition at Texas Christian University, Cleveland State University, Winner of Rangsit University Solo Trombone Competition, and finalist American Trombone Workshop Division III Bass Trombone Solo Competition in 2015 and 2016. I am a fully-certified music educator of over 20 years: I have taught both middle school band & choir to at-risk youth for 3 years, as well as elementary music at a private Christian academy for an additional 3 years. With the saxophone as my principal instrument of 35 years now, I also play many other instruments that I teach, including: Piano, Violin, Drums, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, and Trombone.
