My performance and education career began as early as my freshman year of college. I have been fortunate to perform over 1,800 professional commitments in my career as well as teaching roughly 25 students. As much as possible, I want my students to guide the direction of their lessons and their growth as musicians. Helping students to set realistic goals and then providing the tools needed to achieve those goals are key components to my teaching philosophy. My teaching experience includes a few trombone lessons here and there throughout my undergrad, piano tutoring, music history tutoring, and I also helped with my high school's band camp while completing my undergrad.
