Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.
lessons are available in the following areas:
Instruments: Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Drums, Bass Guitar, Euphonium, Tuba, Mallet Percussion
My teaching style is calm yet sensitive, careful yet daring. I love to challenge students. I also believe in giving lots of praise and encouragement. I don't have a set teaching style. I am very flexible and will based each lesson on the individual student.
Instruments: Piano, Voice, Trombone
Teaching Methods: I use Thompson's method books as well as Schaum's method books depending on the student and what level they are at. I also am a firm user and teacher of Schaum's Fingerpower Method books which strengthen the hand muscles as well as the performance.

While completing my degree in Music Composition, I also studied Music Education. I am currently working finishing my requirements to become a certified public school teacher. During my time at the University of Missouri, I completed 2.5 years of field experience where I would assist the teachers, lead rehearsals for the ensembles and give private lessons to the students. I was also a cello instructor for the Missouri String Project, a program that allows 3rd-5th graders to take group lessons for violin, viola & cello and be a part of an orchestra on Fridays. Since completing my degree, I have been active in the St. Louis area as a private instructor for strings, low brass and beginner voice.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
