Overview:
I'm a confident, passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love, and colorful style of music, I always believe that music looks like a rainbow, had a different color to organize a beautiful and fabulous skyline. In 2018, I graduated from Berklee college of music with a Bachelor of Degree in Piano Performance. Performing all over the world has been the most exciting, enjoyable and valuable experience of my life as a musician. I belong to the LGBTQ, and absolutely music give us more inspiration to explore our emotion. I'm a transgender female, but I never regret I worked in the music career, especially my lovely instrument piano. ALRIGHT STUDENTS!!! Are you ready follow me to open the colorful life? When you want to follow me to open the colorful adventure! be sure, bring your fingers because they are the keys to open the door or GATE!!!!!
EXPERIENCE
My teaching experience dates back to my college days in Berklee, I remembered that some of the day, so many friends ask me about how to exercise the piano technology and how to improved, from that momentum I've decided to teach my friends in the practice room. Encouraging is one of the most key points I like to show to all students, and I will help the student how to gain the passion, confidence, and personality for the instrument. I've also found the combination of classical music, and Jazz music can let students enjoy the piano and have fun continue to learn. If a student feels so boring and not funny, I'm not doing my job! If students want to ask me to be encouraged about competitions and recitals! I will say yes!!!!! show your ability and your passion, a personality that I teach you haha!
METHODS USED
For every student, when my first meet them, I will tell them every piece had their own story, different people had their diverse background and different understanding of the same piece. For children, I typically start with basic technology, scales, arpeggio although was boring, I will add some elements to let them being active. On the other hand, I typically start with John Thompson's Easiest piano course, to make my student know about every note, every chord, they had a life, they had their personality. When you play the one note or chord, you need to know about what you want to say and describe. For adults, I will let them think about why they want to play the piano, and follow my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons more interesting and funny.
LESSON STYLE
How to define their interest when they play the piano, that is the important things when I teach students and want to talk about it. Every student had their own pace; I need to encourage their pace and improve thinking, creativity and space to talk about their own story. Every student, come to study with me, we are the international family, help each other and let them be happy and confident in the city. I make students eager to learn more, and I will find out which story, or my experience to inspires the students. I can do my best.
