I’m a passionate and motivated teacher who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I learn piano since four years old, I understand how boring for practicing, that’s the thing I want to avoid. I want the student can have fun from learning piano. I also want my student can have more chance to perform in front of people. I love teaching piano, love music and my students. I start teaching when I was in high school, I help my students to pass the piano proficiency test. When I go to my undergraduate, my teachers offer me a lot of teaching opportunities. I am really enjoying it, because the students come in with no experience, and they can perform a song, even they can have their own recital. But I want them play for fun, fun to play. If they aren’t have fun, I am not doing my job. I’m always looking to bring on new students of all ages! So please contact if you have any questions
In the beginning, I always focus on their hand position, sitting position, because that can cause a lot of problems if the hand position is wrong. When they learn how to read the music, I always do the flash card and stickers to encourage them. Once the students has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals,I will let them play the materials, lesson book for the knowledge, Performance book for the song and theory book for the written. I also would introduce some solo reportiore to my students.
Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music. Therefore. It’s important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. We can set a goal in each lesson,which can give them the motivation to keep practicing. Each student has their own method to teach, but my job is to find out how to make them feel that practicing is not boring, they are willing to play. I think it’s important if the students can have lesson every week, that can keep the pace and never behind.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
