METHODS USED
Based out of Phoenix, I’m available to teach online lessons via ZOOM wherever you may be located. Over the years, my students have ranged from beginners, college level, and adults, many of which have chosen to pursue music at universities throughout the United States and abroad. Lessons can be weekly or bi-weekly, and can range from 30 to 60 minutes depending on your personal and/or professional goals. Generally speaking, lesson curriculum will be focused on building technique, introducing new styles, music theory, and audition success. From day one, students are provided with learning goals and repertoire that is suitable for them. I also offer professional development and music business skills for students who are interested in preparing for the road to college and beyond.
LESSON STYLE
Hello and welcome! As an music educator, my teaching experience is wide-ranging, but my goal in every lesson and classroom setting is to foster proficiency in, as well as conscious appreciation for, technical mastery, self-expression, and professional development based on the needs of each individual student. In all programs that I have taught, I guide my students through accessible methods in which they form transferable skills, share musical innovations, and formulate artistic confidence on and off stage. I design these steps and pursue these goals in service to my belief that every student deserves the opportunity to feel empowered by music, regardless of ability level or background.
