Todd Talbot's career as a professional drummer began in 1993 and has taken him all over Canada and the United States. To date, Todd has performed 1500+ live shows, and has credits on more than 30 full length albums as well as numerous shorter recordings in styles ranging from jazz and world music to hard rock and more. Todd's solid, tasteful playing has made him in demand wherever he has traveled, from Winnipeg, Canada to New York City, and now Denver. Since coming to Colorado in 2009, Todd has played with an impressive group of artists including Steve Mignano, Ashley Buchart, Adam Stern, Charlie Provenza and Katie Glassman, Mike Mauer, the Kahuna Beach Party, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, and more.
Todd has been teaching privately since 1993 and has taught hundreds of private students. Several of his students have gone on to their own success in the music business and a few have even become teachers themselves. In addition, Todd has conducted numerous percussion clinics and band camps while working with school divisions in his home town of Winnipeg, Canada.
