Overview:
I graduated in 1985 from college of charleston with BA/MU I have been a church musician pianist/flute for 35 years in the local churchs of the chaleston. Currently church pianist for a church.Have been teching for mt. pleasant music store, and music and arts store of chareston,traveling teacher for the local area.
EXPERIENCE
I hase been teachig for 35 years > I started teaching in my parents home when I was in highschool. After teaching general music k-8 for many years that was when I starated teaching for the town of mt pleasant. After that time I went on my own with the traveling piano studio, which is what I call my business. Music is my life I am proud to teach folks of all ages and a new life skill for talented children.
METHODS USED
I base my teaching on the indiidual students needs, younger books for children for beginners,,, adult books for adults,,,, then inbetween diffant variations for each level.
LESSON STYLE
I am soft spoken a traditional piano teacher. Every spring we have our recital at a nursing home on a grand piano the students love it,,, as well as the senior citizens great community service program for the kids.
