Overview:

I'm a Jazz vocalist from Korea, and I have studied Jazz voice performance at Berklee college of Music in Boston, and Music University in Basel, Switzerland. Studying different fields made me created my own distictive musical sound, and I'd love to meet students who is also creative and open-minded! I'm mostly focused on Improvisation and Jazz instrumental music.

EXPERIENCE

I began to teach when I was at Berklee college of Music. I love people who are interested in learning new stuff, and willing to learn from each other! Not only Jazz lovers, I teach currently at a K-pop academy in K-town Manhattan. It is great fun to teach! Music connect people from different genre and style. It is amazing learning experience for me as well.

METHODS USED

We won't use any particular book, but we will be eventually making a book as we go over the lessons. And it will be your next teaching method!

LESSON STYLE

Any level of people, we start with warming up technique, which is most important process to maintain your geer healthy condition and funtional. And than, We'll do range improving exercises, Nasal-sound realizing exercises, Dynamic improving exercises and more. Every 3 weeks (approximately) we'll complete the tune and we'll record with my small camera so that YOU can be the listener and check your shape and singing style, and see what we could fix. And in case you're into Jazz, and you want to learn improvisation, we will practice improvisation with various exercises I got from all my teachers.
