I have loved band for a long time and am currently studying to be a music teacher with a band emphasis at BYU. I believe I have the ideal combination of knowledge, training, and experience to make an invaluable contribution to Musica Lessons. Since graduating with my Master’s degree in Clarinet Music Performance in 2002, I have performed with numerous musical groups, including bands, orchestras, and ensembles, all over the world. For 12 years I performed with the Sudecka Philharmonic Orchestra in Poland as a clarinetist and pianist. My teaching experience started in college 27 years ago and I have maintained a consistent student roster since 2004. Encouraging a regular practice schedule is a key point especially for younger students in progressing and gaining a passion for the instrument. I've discovered offering a balance of classical, and modern music are the best combo for helping students maintain motivation to practice and learn.
