I am very goal oriented in teaching. I use a similar methodology as learning a language. I prefer the Hal Leonard books for beginning students. Some of the major aspects I like to focus on are three areas being 1) Rudiments, Scales, and Chords, 2) Educational books, 3) favorite song repertoire. For students younger than 15, I recommend only 30 minutes unless students are more experienced and very engaged in their instrument. Students older than 16 can take more advantage of a 45 minute or even an hour lesson. Read More

I approach teaching like nursing a baby ,u care for the baby,u feed the baby when hungry,u cover the babies body from catching cold , you teach the baby how to eat ,u hug the baby when he or she start crying, when she wants to go put her hand in the fire u stop her and tell her in advance what she’s going to experience.when she’s 18 you start to tell her to set goals and always drive hard to achieve them ,you tell her to never give up and be distracted by boys, you’d tell to always keep learning in life because the day you stop learning you start dying. Over the years I picked up the cello, the guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, banjo, harmonica, violin, viola, mandolin, violone, lute, songwriting, audio production, sound engineering, and arranging. I've sold original songs, engineered and produced music for singers, and created professional backing tracks. Some people might say I have a hard time focusing. The cello and bass remain my strongest suits. I would love to help you progress with these instruments, regardless of where you are on your journey! Read More
