I love helping people learn music. I honestly believe that anyone can play an instrument with some work and everyone has a song to share. In 2012, I graduated from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelors Degree in Music Business. I started a band my junior year of high school called Local Uprising and we have traveled the states, opened up for some of the biggest reggae acts like Steel Pulse, Alpha Blondy, JBoog and Stephen Marley, we had #1 songs on radio and got nominated last year for Reggae Breakout Artist of the Year. For beginning piano students, I use Alfred's basic Piano Library. This works well with young children as it has colorful pictures and easy to understand language. For Adults who are just starting to learn piano I like Alfred's basic Adult Piano Course. This course comes with audio CD's to accompany the student each step of the way. It makes it fun.
