I started teaching music classes in 1992. As a public school music teacher, I have taught students in grades 1-12. I taught concert band, jazz band, marching band, string orchestra, full orchestra, and general music. I have conducted a women's chorale and taught college as well. For 7 years, I trained music education students and supervised their teaching experiences. My teaching experience began 12 years ago when I was a high school student as a requirement of the Pedagogy class of the Conservatory I was studiying. I began teaching private lessons in a Elementary music School. Through the years I become a clarinet and chamber Music teacher in a Conservatory and hold a home studio until I decided to pursue my musical studies.Here in the States I began giving private lessons around the Boston area, as part of a pedagogy program I taught privateclarinet lessons and Band sectionals in Cambridge and Brighton Elementary Schools. I am an experienced and passionate musician who teaches for the love of music, not for the love of competition. I hold degrees in music education and saxophone from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater and humanities from California State at Dominguez Hills, as well as a number of year's study in saxophone and jazz improvisation and theory at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in Milwaukee. I have been published through Plank Road Publishing and Music K-8 Magazine and have performed at venues large and small, as well as theatres, festivals and clubs from the Midwest to Florida and ultimately to New Mexico.
