For beginning students, I assess the skills and create a personalized plan to get them to the next level using the Klose, Baermann, and selected solo repertoire. My goal after a year is for a student to be comfortable enough to make music in front of an audience. Students will master scales which are found appropriate for them and prepare a weekly etude to help the learning process.
