For beginning students, I usually start with Piano Adventures curriculum, starting with just the lesson book. Around level two we will add the theory book and if the student shows an eagerness for more songs, the performance book as well. Around level four I will also add the technique and artistry book. I don't believe there is nothing is better than having a student who has achieved a goal. So it is so important for me that my student progress at a rate that is fun, yet challenging. I believe goals should be realistic and tangible. We should discuss plans together on what kind of player they want to be. Then I tailor their lessons to them. My passion for teaching stringed instruments has brought me to work with students from the ages of 6 to 23 during my college career. I have also spent many semesters tutoring Music Theory to my peers. I work to create a supportive environment for my students that help them to grow as musicians technically and expressively.
