I began teaching privately in 1999 when i started music school at the university of alabama. I then moved to Miami in 2006where i taught through the school of music. Once i graduated, i taught at many of the colleges in the area, Miami Dade University, Palm Beach Atlantic College, Palm Beach College, West Boca High School, Boca High School, and Forest Hill High School. My entire life has been full of music. I have close family members on both my mother's and father's side that played music extensively through their lives. I began playing drums at the age of 10 and three years later picked up guitar. Since then, I learned to read music and taught myself how to play piano, banjo, mandolin, bass guitar, and a very small pinch of the violin.
