My teaching experience dates back 5 years. I began teaching private lessons as a part time instructor , not only for instruments, but music theory as well. As any professional will tell you, Rhythm is the most important element in music and in order to hone your craft to new heights the first thing my students develop are core basics such as steady timing and finger strength. Once the basics have been developed my mission is to adhere to each individual student's need, as nobody learns the same way. I will never turn away a student based on skill level and am always eager to provide more students with a safe fun learning environment for all ages!

I will show you how to understand music and bend it to your will. For my beginning students the first thing we look at is building internal rhythm, finger strength, and getting comfortable playing your selected instrument. Once the basics become more familiar, we'll move on to understanding music theory while applying it to real world applications. My intermediate and advanced students focus on higher levels of music theory and finger techniques that are designed to break the pattern of repetitious playing. We also learn what you want to learn. My students choose the songs they want to work on because I believe every person is an individual and requires different needs to meet their goals.
