I am very passionate about playing and teaching piano. I studied in Dresden, Germany and for many years have taught numerous students to gain a love of music. I also have been a church pianist for the last three years which has given me the opportunity to compose musical scores for holidays and special events.

I also have been a church pianist for the last three years which has given me the opportunity to compose musical scores for holidays and special events.
For the last 20 years while living in Charleston, SC, Asheville, NC and now in Monticello, Georgia I have worked with students in both my and the student's home. My students range from beginner through advanced and encompasses all ages. Working with each student to make their experience both enjoyable and fun adds to their pleasure and long term commitment. Students also participate in recitals in which their families have the opportunity to view their progress and achievements.
A review of where a student is in their musical journey is done before any lessons are given in order to make a lesson plan designed specifically for them. I inquire as to what the advanced students want to accomplish with their lessons so they can be placed on a path to successfully reach their goals. All students are encouraged to practice in order to reinforce what they have previously learned.
I delight in knowing that I have started my students on a path to both enjoy and love music. Each lesson builds on the previous one to make each student have a sense of accomplishment which is very important for their continued success.
