1972 Garrett High School Graduated. 1983 American River College, Minor in liberal arts- Guitar and Bass Major in Automotive Technology and Heavy Equipment. Associate Degree. 2007-2012 Earned status of GS12 for Field Service Representative in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Overview:
I started playing guitar in 10th grade. I always wanted to be a rock star and make the big money, Ha during the days of the high school and the band. There were fundamentals that move forward with these goals as I did. In the Air Force I had a folk band. My group of girls, ages from 9-12, did a great job during the time we were together. I taught people that wanted to learn to impress family and friends. That's good. I love to teach the troops , Polish, British, and French how to play the guitar. They stayed true in staying in touch threw Facebook for new lesson. The best was playing in Afghanistan with the band (Uncontrolled Det.). We had a good run with good music an after three months we split up and went our ways We are still getting hits on Facebook. Love my music
EXPERIENCE
During my life I've had some great experience starting in High School. I was in the marching band and played the trombone and baritone. The best experience was playing 76 Trombones on stage. I love the togetherness of playing good and the sound was so tight. I received a Trophy for that music piece. In the Air Force , during the Vietnam ERA I taught a group of girls 9-12 at a catholic church on base. We learn to sing and play folk music. Love the efforts and competition of all the events we did. It was outstanding , beautiful sound. During 1982-1988 we had a band that played rock and roll. That was hard work. We tour for 7 years and broke even. From 2007-2012 I was a GS12 contractor in Iraq and Afghanistan . When I was in Iraq, Ramadi the troop and civilians but together a folk band. We had great bunch of people that love to sing and play the guitar for the love of the lord. We were good, we cut a cd and it some were in the States.
METHODS USED
My methods are styles I put together my whole life playing guitar and bass. When the student starts the first lesson I will be patient , understanding and firm on the goals they want to achieve. I know they have a lot to learn and the goal is to learn those fundamentals with loving and caring for these strives. I have a few starting books and advance books . Hard work and perseverance will make you great.
LESSON STYLE
I like to approach the younger generation with the basic fundamentals in the musical instrument they are to learn, keeping there attention on what they want to achieve. The student has to want to absorb and memorize these first step. Next is want to grasp the instrument with heart and eager to learn more.
