I am a Musician’s Institute (G.I.T.) and Berklee College of Music graduate who has been playing guitar for nearly thirty years. I've been featured in Guitar for the Practicing Musician magazine and was voted in the top five guitarists of New England. I studied under and performed with musicians such as Paul Gilbert, Billy Sheenan, Vinnie Moore, Frank Gambale, Craig Goldy, Scott Henderson, John Finn, and Joe Stump. Kelly has been teaching guitar for over ten years, with students ranging from age 5 to 50, beginner to advanced. My method is to not only make his students great guitar players, but great musicians who can read, write, and lead other musicians.

Nearly any style of music can be taught ranging from rock, punk, metal, jazz fusion, blues, and reggae. Various subjects covered are music theory, advanced jazz and classical theory, guitar techniques, songwriting, ear-training, and reading. His greatest musical influences are Van Halen, Al DiMeola, Yngwie Malmsteen, Pantera, Dream Theater, Tool, Megadeth, Yes, ELP, Rush and Genesis.
A lesson with me is a balanced and mutual experience. Students have access to a college level musical education, but also have the freedom to choose their own style and songs to learn. Lessons are meant to be fun, challenging, and engaging, fulfilling the heart and mind.
