I have hosted the Westchester, NY Musika recital for two years. I am a passionate and engaging instructor. I have taught all age levels and backgrounds and work to connect students to the music they love and help them realize their own voice at their instrument. I have composed music for lots of films and am constantly working on my craft. I teach classical and jazz and pop as well as how to read chord changes, charts and creating your own demos and songs. I have taught music theory at the special music school in manhattan and have degrees form Columbia and NYU. I look forward to connecting with you!
I have taught since I was in college. I regularly taught music theory and piano to non keyboardists at the special music school. In addition I have worked with students of all backgrounds. Some want to learn how to record a song, some want to play a song they love, some just want to make great music and I help students achieve all of these goals. I have performed at Carnegie Hall and at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC. I am an accomplished composer writing and producing in all styles of music.
Jacob is excellent. He is very knowledgeable and personable. He appears to be very flexible and adaptable in his approach; responding to the students interests and needs.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
OkAre you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
