I began in music since 70's decade, then self taught as acoustic gtr, then Bellas Artes school of music, studied several courses in Baja CA college, I have multimedia skills for music applying studio, audio and video production and post production. I' a live multi-instrumental performer, singer, of several styles of music from std. jazz to country folk, classic rock, Spanish and Mexican music, Latin pop music, Caribbean, and Brazilian too, Alto and Tenor, Flute, Guitar Synths. melodic performer.
I started teaching in a foreign country, Mexico in Arts and Performance State Music Academy, for children, young adults and adults, in 1986, then I'd teached and performed particular one on one lessons in Baja Mexico, and delivered lessons in 2004 in a private Music Academy, since 2014 I've being teaching and performing in Southern CA area to different levels of students particularly and in several revenues, such as private parties, lounch bars, Casino Resorts and Hotels as musician and singer enterteiner.
For beginners: Fingering exercises for muscle and tendons, ear training, my own method. For intermediate level, Escales, Triads, Chords and introduction to harmonization, (MOM). Advanced: Development for playing along with different tracks, songs, and melodies, (mom). Depending on the instrument I teach, use different approach and method of my own. Depending of the age of the student is the way I consider how to get the method of lessons practicing. If the student has a learning problem I change the approach for practicing only by ear.
Stimulating the students, skills and personality, by encouraging to perform different styles of music of their own choice. Let the student to acquire self confidence in making decisions of pieces of music and songs also. Introducing the student to multimedia fields, and have a first approach to virtual studio recording, rehearsal session. Selecting different styles of music, tonalities and tempo to let know the students how to "feel" the music from several instances, to learn and have a solid point of view for starters.
