Eddie has been working as a Guitarist, Vocalist, Producer, Songwriter, Promoter and Teacher for over 12 years. Currently, you can find him performing as a solo artist, and with bands ICE GIANT and VIVISEPULTURE. Growing up in Southern Maryland, Eddie was able to find his love for Music and Guitar. He started his professional career early by promoting his hometown bands and social media channels. In 2015, Eddie graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor's in Music Business. Though experienced with incorporating a vast repertoire of genres into his music and teaching, Eddie specializes in Metal/Rock/Blues music. Are you a beginner looking to have fun with Guitar? There has been a lot that I have learned over my musical journey thus far. Teaching has been a fulfilling way to do share that! Building consistent processes for learning and practicing have proven very useful for students and myself alike. I make it a priority to structure lessons around every individual's musical goals and interests. Students will learn methods for their own artistic expression. Some facilitations of this could be songwriting, learning favorite songs, expanding knowledge of music theory, performance skills and much more!
Lessons start by gauging the student's goals. Through customized lessons we will incorporate music theory and techniques based in many genres. There will be a correlation between the skills we work on and the student's musical interests. However a weekly lesson plan (pdf can be sent each week) will help the student develop a practice routine. All ability levels will have fun during their lessons and be able to develop skills at a individual-specific pace. Students can learn the inner workings of the music they hear every day!
It is great to see any individual move towards growing their abilities for self expression. Learning music can bring the best out of many facets of life, and yield a beautiful way to communicate. I see teaching as assisting someone on that path. To me a teacher should help encourage growth and be open to learning as well. Any student I have will be met with a smile and enthusiasm for their interests and goals. Communication on what the student looks for in their lessons is encouraged. Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
