Dr. Kathleen is a wonderful piano teacher for my two daughters! She is sensitive and gentle, and patient and encouraging. She does a great job with lessons online and in person. My daughters enjoy their time with her and are eager to practice and show her what they have accomplished. She is a perfect fit for our family, and we are blessed to have found her!

Dr. Kathleen exudes the patience, professionalism , the right level of encouragement and praise during her sessions with my 13 and 8 year old. The recordings she uses in Skype during the sessions have been a tremendous help with practice. I found her ability to remain calm, systematic and structured during he lessons have helped my high functioning autistic 8 year old son to get better at the piano. We are very happy to have found her.

Kathleen is the kindest, most patient teacher on the planet. With my rambunctious trio, she keeps her calm and guides them gently through their lessons. For several years she has provided in person lessons and video lessons. Would not want any other music teacher for my kids.

Dr. Kathleen is the best violin/fiddle teacher we have seen! She is patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. In just a few lessons she had our 5 year old confidently playing some songs by ear and also reading some music. Her teaching methods have been very effective. Not only has she helped our young, new beginner, she has also helped our 12 year old two time state fiddle champion. She has helped her prepare some difficult new fiddle pieces, adding in many special extras, and we can’t wait for the next fiddle championship. Dr Kathleen has been so encouraging as she has corrected many of the wrong habits my daughter had taught herself from not having a real fiddle teacher and learning mainly YouTube lessons. Our youngest should be able to start competing in the peewee division at the next competition also! We highly recommend Dr Kathleen Lavengood for anyone who wants to confidently and correctly learn the fiddle (or violin)!

Dr. Kathleen L. is the best I wish we met her earlier what she has been able to accomplish with my daughter in such a short time is amazing. It was very hard to motivate her to practice and even remember her violin before Dr. Kathleen L. but now she reminds me. Her words, "I love the violin, it's fun."

My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Dr. Kathleen for almost 2 years now. They have been nothing but wonderful and joyful years and my 7 year old has learned so much during this time. I recently enrolled my son as well and his lessons were going very smoothly as well, owing to her encouragement and her very patient teaching methods. Definitely recommend her to any one!!

Dr. Kathleen L. is a perfect fit for our 13 year old! Dr. Kathleen has a kind disposition, within five minutes our daughter felt comfortable. Dr. Kathleen’s lesson plan is structured and easy for our daughter to follow. My only regret is not using Musika sooner! Lessons start on time and finish on time, and our daughter loves learning in her home and playing her own piano! Thank you Musika for introducing Dr. Kathleen to our family!

She works well with my 6 y.o. because she uses music games along with the technical workings of a piano and pushes him to play advanced music. Yes, I would recommend her to every one.
