I have been teaching piano for over 5 years and have worked with many different students of various ages and skill levels. I have a broad range of repertoire that I draw from, encompassing classical, pop, and jazz styles, and I always strive to find pieces that will challenge and inspire my students. In addition to teaching repertoire, I also focus on music theory and provide learning material that is specifically tailored to each student's skill level and interests. My approach to teaching emphasizes creativity and self-expression, and I always encourage my students to develop their own unique style and voice as pianists. As a piano teacher, I use unique teaching methods that are customized to each student's needs and wants. For children, I like to start with fun and engaging songs before finding out what their favorite song is. This helps keep them motivated and interested in learning. When it comes to adult beginners, I also start with some adult beginner pieces and ask them what kind of music they enjoy listening to. From there, I can create a lesson plan that is personalized to their interests and skill level. I believe that every student has their own way of learning and playing the piano. This is why I strive to understand their goals, whether it be playing their favorite song or learning a particular style of music. By understanding what they want to achieve, I can create a lesson plan that is specific to their goals. My teaching approach is highly flexible and adaptable, ensuring that each student is receiving a tailored and effective method of learning. I am willing to teach any style of music, from classical to jazz to pop, and I adjust my teaching methods to suit the style and level of the student. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a fun and enjoyable learning experience for all of my students, no matter what their age or skill level.
