Overview:

I have been playing, performing, and writing music for almost 20 years and have a musical resume that includes working with some of the top names in contemporary pop, rock, country, jazz, and classical music. My career has seen me perform on stages, television and radio throughout North America, and included living and working in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. I have achieved an Associate degree (Phi Theta Kappa) at Portland Community College, and in addition, received a Certificate of Completion for PCC's Professional Music program. I am a current student at Portland State University’s School of Music with a focus in Jazz vocal studies.

EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching music since 2006 and enjoy every minute of it. I believe that fostering a love of music will lead to a lifetime of creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking.

METHODS USED

Because no two people learn the same way, I use a variety of teaching methods and build my cirriculum on a student by student basis.

LESSON STYLE

I encourage students to have fun and to find the excitement and passion in music.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
