As an instructor and professional musician, I teach and motivate my students to develop their skills and expand their musicanship. I graduated from Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, NYC, with a Master of Music. I'm very fortunate to have the opportunity to play with many extraordinary musicians here in New York City and around the world. I'm passionate about music and I love to teach students how to focus their passion for music into a finely honed technique.
I began teaching private lessons In Zurich, Switzerland, where I received my Bachelor of Music in Performance and Pedagogy. I've taught students of all different ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. I encourage all my students to practice consistently and to play with passion, energy, and musicality.
For young beginners, I typically start with keyboard exercises and basic lessons in music theory fundamentals and ear training. Upon mastery of a few fundamental skills, students are introduced to a range of compositions that they can choose to learn to study and to play. For all my students at various levels, I assess their abilities and consistently challenge them to sharpen their skills.
Teaching and watching my students grow and develop as musicians is truly a rewarding experience. I help them accomplish their goals by understanding where they are and by setting challenging, fun, and realistic goals for each lesson. I'm a patient teacher who believes in being positive and giving honest and consistent feedback to my students.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
