Once they have progressed of study, I would like to introduce some solo repertoires with beautiful melody line for their recital performance. And in each lesson, I will play the accompany part for young students, which can bring them more fun of learning short pieces, and enjoy studying. My teaching experience goes back to when I was a sophomore in high school and I started to teach piano lessons after school to kids that ranged from the age of 5-13. In these lessons we would cover fundamentals, warm-ups, theory, classic literature, etudes, and any fun songs that they wanted! I am originally from Los Angeles, California and after completing my bachelors in San Fransico I moved to Wichita to earn two  master's degrees from WSU. I am a composer and pianist who has had their music played by many musiciains ranging from student to professional. For high school-aged students interested in musical theater and/or pop music, we try to find common ground on their musical interests and find pieces based on that.
