I am a passionate music teacher who loves the one on one instruction I can provide to students. I taught elementary music in a small town in western Kansas for two years, and had private students in piano, voice, flute, and trumpet. Hello! I am a highly motivated private instructor that loves to share my passion of music to all. I graduated from Emporia State University in May 2023 with my Master of Music degree in Flute Performance. During my time at ESU I was in the marching band (piccolo/trumpet), Hornet Revue (piccolo), Jazz Ensemble (piano), Wind Ensemble (principal flute/piccolo), symphony orchestra (principal flute), fall musicals, and flute choir. I also believe students need musical ideas to be presented to them in different ways. Some students need a visual explanation, some auditory, and some kinesthetic. I am originally from Los Angeles, California and after completing my bachelors in San Fransico I moved to Wichita to earn two  master's degrees from WSU. I am a composer and pianist who has had their music played by many musiciains ranging from student to professional.
