I began my high school career as a baritone, but my voice quickly changed to Tenor and I began singing higher repertoire. I performed with Scotty Dennis and the Soultones, Band of Brothers, have released two pop singles, and continue as a student at Wichita State University where I am in their Opera program. I love music in every form, and find it important to be flexible as a vocalist and sing in many different genres in order to be as versatile of a musician as possible. Read More

My teaching experience began while I was in college taking music education coursework and working as a music tutor for a local middle school band program. After graduating in 2013 I have taught more than 300 hours of private music lessons to students of all ages. I have also taught group music lessons, K-6 general music and choir for a homeschool music program in addition to music theory lessons. for beginning students who are children and just starting out, i typically start with the basic elements of either voice or guitar, depending on which lesson you have chosen. once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire which is age - appropriate of course, in hopes of preparing them for a first recital, perhaps. for adults, i try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level.
