We were awarded the "Best Bluegrass Band" by the Austin Chronicle in 2013 and 2018. We've been featured on No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain, the NBC tv show Revolution, the Daily Show (back when it was John Stewart still!), NPR, CMT, Rolling Stone, BBC, and were in the major motion picture musical Pitch Perfect 3. My teaching experience dates back about 20 years. Since then, I’ve taught many levels and many instruments. I’ve taught students ranging from 18 months to 81 years old. I’ve taught many styles;including jazz, pop, and rock. I’ve had students to make videos and win several competitions. My favorite genre to teach is classical.
