My preferred piano method is Piano Adventures and I recommend using the Lesson, Theory, and Sight Reading books at each level. For guitar and voice I typically do not follow any specific method unless the student has a preference. For more advance piano students I typically will begin using Suzuki or move them to Burgmller Etudes and Schumann's Opus 68 - Album for the Young. My method for beginner or advanced students, I develop lesson plans and instructional materials. I identify the pupil’s needs and implement strategies. I use a variety of methods for effective teaching that fits the student’s style. I start with a standard basic beginning lesson plan to read music. I have also had the oppurtunity to perform with many different pop groups like The Drifters, The Skyliners, American Idol's Adam Brock Band among others. Recently I have let several groups including my original jazz group called the Tucker Flythe Quartet at Somethin' Jazz club in NYC, as well as a soul, funk, and rock and roll review band called Timi Kendrix.
