Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I am a passionate and dedicated musician, and I love teaching flute players of all levels and ages. I received my master's degree in flute performance from Shenandoah Conservatory in May of 2020 where I studied with internationally renowned flutist, Jonathan Snowden. I'm from Virginia, but currently reside in Columbus, Nebraska, where I spend my time practicing, teaching, and working part-time as volunteer coordinator for CCC Adult Education. In beginning students, it's always important to start out working with a methods book; they're a great starting and reference point. Additionally, we'll need a second book of excerpts and exercises for consistency. The specific book that we'll work out of depends on what sorts of music you like: classical, jazz, pop, music theatre, and so on.
