Depending on my student's familiarity with their instrument, my approach to their lessons will differ accordingly. I thoroughly believe in teaching each student with a unique approach, one that caters both to their learning style and how comfortable they are playing in front of others. I've been playing drums and percussion professionally for about 20 years. I've taught private lessons; I've instructed high school drum lines and percussion ensembles. Being an Army musician, I've had the opportunity to play for soldiers and civilians in the US and abroad. Currently I play drums for the band As You Were, which is the Army's musical outreach team. The band does require that I spend some time on the road, but as a drummer I can teach lessons remotely from a hotel room. Read More
