Zac has received a bachelors degree in music education and a masters degree in music performance from Miami University with a focus in percussion. All are affordable and can be obtained at local music stores or online. I can make recommendations on books, sticks, drum pads, beginner or more advanced drum sets (as well as hardware, cymbals, ect.). I am very much a goal-oriented and visual person, so I like to set clear goals for my students. I like to get to know my students personally and create a more open relationship. Some students learn much quicker than others and that is okay! But, I do always encourage my students to progress using proper techniques to prevent burnout and any injuries. I believe that technical facility makes it easier to accomplish musical goals while developing musicianship.
