Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

For beginners I use the first suzuki books while also teaching scales to teach theory as well as hand positions. After the first suzuki book, I assign my own pieces based on the students interests or what I think would help their technique. Since all students are different, assign pieces based on what I think would help them improve the most. I also assign music from a variety of composers to teach students different styles and different musical periods. Read More
Instruments: Cello
Younger/beginner students will interact with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements and some basic Suzuki training. Intermediate to advanced players will be assigned repertory that is a balance of healthy and challenging based on their strengths and weaknesses. All levels of students will interact with Jensen/Chung's CelloMind, scales, and other fundamental technical exercises. Depending on the context, all students will interact with music theory concepts and music history. Some light physics will also be integrated (don't be scared of it!). Read More
Instruments: Piano, Violin, Cello
It's my goal to have every student progress throughout the year. Every student learns at different rates, so I teach based on that. I will explain concepts using different techniques until it clicks for a student. Asking questions is also a huge part of the way I teach. Not only does it help solidify concepts, but allows the student to tell me what they know and what they have learned so far. Read More
Instruments: Guitar, Cello, Bass Guitar

Thanks to that, I have played over 1,000 shows, both solo and as an auxiliary musician for other touring acts. Read More
