Instruments: Cello

Originally born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, I have had the incredible privilege of learn from some of the best cellists and cello teachers in the world. I started playing the cello when at the age of 8 in the 4th grade, and immediately fell in love with it. For the past 15 years I have been a student of the cello and it is my life's goal to continue to master the cello and to teach it to others. Read More

Instruments: Guitar, Violin, Cello, Viola, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Bass Guitar, Mallet Percussion, Orchestral Percussion, Oboe, Bassoon, Electric Guitar, Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar

Dr.Suzuki believed that every child, if properly taught, was capable of a high level of musical achievement. Read More

Through this ideology I use the Suzuki method and like to prioritize listening and playing by ear before note reading when the students are young beginners. Even if the student is older, I like to incorporate ear training with a mixture of all the skills we must master as musicians--note reading, sight reading, improvising, etc. Read More

Instruments: Piano, Violin, Cello

When i start a beginner student, i like to use either Essential Elements or Suzuki for violin and cello. For piano, i like to use the Faber method books. As the student progresses with either instrument, I try to encourage them to continue with scales and to move up in their playing abilities and music reading. I try to mix it up for my students and ask them what they like to play just to keep them interested. Read More

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
