My methods of teaching change with each student. All individuals learn differently. I start by seeing where each individual is and how they react to the material. I like using all kinds of inspirational material such as listening to reference tracks of music that the student is interested in; to provide a more personalized experience in discovering what their sound is. If the student does not know what they would like to do for the first part of the lesson I typically set multiple instruments around my studio and connect them to amps and start improving or playing something and have the student join in on the jam and then move onto having them take our over and then we go from there.
