I have been teaching others since 2006 during my high school years. It has continued on even to today; other than private lessons I have been a staff member for band in schools across Louisiana and Texas. My goal is to inspire and invigorate my students with the gift of music. Scales and fingering/vocal exercises can become boring and tiresome especially for new and younger students. I find ways to make these more mundane parts of the lesson fun with games and veiled learning that keep students engaged. In 2001 I graduated from State Music Academy in Bulgaria with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Voice Performance and in 2009 I earned my Master's degree in Voice Performance from University of New Orleans. Performing all over Europe and North America has been one of the greatest experiences of my life as a musician.
