I am just a guide in the process of their musical and characteristic developments. Because of this, I like to create custom lesson plans based on the student's needs. I believe it is important to know what the student wants to accomplish. I am a classically-trained musician who loves all styles of music. My earliest memory of myself is age 2, dancing and conducting up a storm to The Nutcracker on TV. I would also put on all sorts of records (favorites include Mozart Horn Concerto and Dvorak Symphonies) and conduct along by myself. I began teaching five years ago around the age of twenty. Now, at twenty-five, I have had the opportunity to teach people from all walks of life, with ages ranging from 6 to 60!  I encourage students to practice "perfect practice", which means they are as relaxed as possible when practicing (mentally and physically).
