Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our voices are as unique as we are as individuals. I approach each student and sometimes each lesson from this perspective. Fundamentally singing is an aerodynamic process. My primary and most fundamental objective is to give my students pathways to understanding and using the power of breath to energize their singing. This energy is required regardless of vocal style. I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a B.S in Music Education, certified in grades PK - 12 spring 2018. I have made my way down to Hattiesburg, MS with my husband to pursue a M.M in Vocal Performance at the University of Southern Mississippi. My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 5 years ago and I have been consistently teaching students either in my studio or on a college campus for the last 5 years. I focus on proper vocal technique including breath support, mouth position, and standing position.
